Scr3enD Photo
Scr3enD Photo has been created to allow for 2D to 3D image conversions using multi-layer images in the PSD format, used by the well-known Adobe Photoshop application.
Scr3enD Photo treats the layers of the PSD file as if they were planes in a 3D scene.
The graphical user interface responds in real time when displaying previews of the result. The software offers the following functions:
- Rotate the layers
- Modify the size of the layers
- Move the layers
- Make the layers transparent
- Delete or hide layers
- Add new layers in the PNG format
- Change the order of the layers in the 3D scene
- Assign 3D space to each particular layer
- Assign a depth map to a layer so that it is no longer flat
- Visually set the focal point, in real time
- Change or exaggerate the 3D effect, visually and in real time
Scr3enD Photo only works in DualView mode on computers running Windows Vista 32-bit.
Scr3enD ZProcessor
Scr3enD ZProcessor has been developed to allow for the conversion of 2D videos with depth maps into 3D, for their subsequently viewing on Scr3enD displays.
To carry out the Scr3enD ZProcessor conversion process, the user must supply a 2D video (in an image sequence format) and its corresponding depth map video (also in an image sequence format).
The graphical user interface responds in real time when displaying previews of the resulting frames. The software offers the following functions and features:
- Easy-to-use environment which is very similar to video editing programs already on the market
- System of "keys" for assigning parameters to each frame
- Histogram and Dropper tool for modifying the depth map of each frame
- "Smoothing" tool for removing unwanted edges from the depth map
- Setting the focal point visually and in real time
- Change or exaggerate the 3D effect, visually and in real time
- System for navigating the entire timeline
- Real-time preview of the resulting video
Scr3enD ZProcessor only works in DualView mode on computers running Windows Vista 32-bit.
Scr3enD Player
Scr3enD Player is the piece of software that takes care of playing back 3D content created in Scr3enD Photo and Scr3enD ZProcessor.
In addition to 3D content, the Scr3enD displays are able to play conventional 2D content thanks to the compatibility functions built into the Scr3enD Player software.
From this program you select the amount of time for which you wish to display the content, the number of loops for each video and the transition effects to use between the various content.
The result can be saved as a playlist which can be played back on the Scr3enD displays.
Scr3enD Player only works on computers running Windows Vista 32-bit.
